We welcome downloading but ask that you please do not distribute these photographs without prior permission from the webmaster and/or photographer. Other sites are - in most cases - free to use these pictures so long as the copyrights of the photographer and website are mentioned and honored.
Photo requirements:
As of 27 May 2003 I will only accept pictures
that are uploaded to my site or on CD's.
There are just too many headaches with photos: I
don't have return addresses, they tend to
clutter up the few free spots I have, I have to
scan them and, quite frankly, I can do more with
jpg's or CD's. I prefer pictures to be
"whole", this is not cropped. That will be
my decision. I require some description of
the pictures as it does neither myself nor the
event or subject any good if the caption is
something like "bike race". Likewise, full
credit is given to the photographer and a
copyright if so requested can be put on the each
picture.
I don't know all of the racers in the Midwest nor where your picture was taken. That is your responsibility. Pictures submitted may be used in subsequent calendars to promote your event if so desired. If you are sending something from "out of state" please let me know and have that return address if you want them returned along with that pre-stamped envelope.
Under no circumstances will copyrighted pictures from another source knowingly be uploaded on this site. Any picture that is copyrighted and found out subsequently by me will be removed unless prior
